Covid-19 Operation for All Alert Levels

We are living through uncertain times, but to ensure certainty regarding how we will be operating through all alert levels we have written this guide!

Below you will find an outline of what we will be doing, and what we ask of you, at each alert level. If we have missed anything, or you have any other questions at all, CLICK HERE to find out how to contact us.

November 2021 Update for Level 3.2:

Opening Hours: Our hours are reduced at Level 3.2 to 9:30-4 Monday to Friday, and 10-2 Saturday. Please email any time via info@elframo.co.nz if you have questions.

We are now open again for in person consultations: These will be conducted at a temporary consultation space in the entry of the building, with an acrylic screen in place to ensure social distancing while we talk. We can only serve one person at a time, so if someone is with us when you arrive please be patient. You’re welcome to give us a call when you’re planning on popping in to see how busy we are.

Sign in using the Covid-19 Tracer App: It is not a requirement that we as a team encourage you to sign in at the door to keep everyone safe. We have QR codes at both doors and ask that you sign in at all alert levels.

Please wear your masks!

Oversized Pieces: Please note if items are large, either for drop off or collection, and you will need help carrying them that we will not be able to help you carry the items in order to maintain distance and keep our team safe. Please bring someone with you from your bubble who can help you out.

Payment: For collections, you will be able to pay via card but please note we do not have Paywave. Our wireless terminal will be by the door and sanitised between users. You’re also welcome to pay via bank transfer, and if you would like those details please email and let us know!

At all levels:

Please stay home if you are sick.

We will also do our best to accommodate those who are Immuno-compromised - please just ask. We will happily wear a mask while consulting with you even at Level 1, and are more than happy to handle all samples etc to help with cross contamination between customers. We are also happy to do remote consultations at all levels if you are unable to, or uncomfortable with, going in store.

Level 1:

Business as usual.

  • We still highly recommend signing into our business using the government’s QR tracker to help alert us and others should it be needed.

  • We will also be keeping up our regular routines of cleaning the benches regularly, and there will always be masks and hand sanitiser on site for you to use at your leisure.

  • No limits on customers in store, use of masks not necessary.

Level 2:

Precautions in place for our safety and yours.

  • Regular hours in place and all staff back on normal shift rotations.

  • Please wear a mask when in the shop if you are able. We will wear masks while serving customers to keep you and us safe.

  • Limited amounts of people in the consultation space and social distancing recommended. If we have too many customers in the shop when you arrive, please feel free to wait outside in the sun or in our gallery area.

  • Please sign in using the Covid-19 Tracer App QR codes. You can find these at both doors, and on our consultation desks. A manual sign in will be available if you are unable to use the app.

  • We will be keeping up regular sanitising routines of the consultation area to keep everything safe.

  • There will always be hand sanitiser on site for you to use, and we request you do before we begin a consultation.

Level 3:

Restricted access for customers: contactless drop off and collection.

  • Staff on site in smaller shifts socially distanced.

  • Reduced hours: 10-2 Mon-Fri, Closed Sat-Sun. Collections at other times available by appointment, please email info@elframo.co.nz any time.

  • Call or email us before to give us a heads up that you’re coming in if you would like to check how busy we are, and please be patient with us should there already be someone with us when you arrive.

  • Virtual consultations available at customers request, and must be by appointment. Drop the work off to us, or ask a bubble mate to do it for you, and we can chat to you while you’re in the comfort of your home.

  • If you can pay your invoice online before coming to collect that would be our preference, though we do have a wireless eftpos terminal that we will sanitise between users.

  • Please wear a mask when coming to see us to help keep you and us safe.

  • It is now a requirement to sign in using the government’s official QR code tracker, so please do! There will be QR codes at both the front door and the roller door entrance.

  • There will be hand sanitiser and sanitising wipes available - please feel free to use them!

Level 4:

Workshop Closure.

  • Workshop closed to staff as well as to customers for both consultations and collections.

  • Our team will reply to enquiries from home, and help you plan out projects as best we can until we can chat in store.

  • Don’t hesitate to get in touch so you can help keep us amused!
