El Framo visited the Pah Homestead today to view the Wallace Arts Trust collection of works by Toss Woollaston (through to 6 September).  Sir James has certainly collected an extensive and important collection of works by this major New Zealand artist and the Long Gallery contains an extraordinary collection of drawings and sketches (mostly ink and brush).  Definitely worth a visit.  Entry is free but El Framo says please make a donation to support this wonderful facility.  Don't forget to visit the sculpture garden.  We particularly liked the two pieces on the lawn by the cafe by Auckland artist Richard Mathieson (disclaimer: yes he's a mate and former employee.

We recommend Richard to our customer as a genial and able installer and hanger of your framed art).
